This product is a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid with a relative density of 0.98 at 20°C. It is easily soluble in water and polar organic solvents, slightly soluble in non-polar organic solvents, and shows non-ionic or cationic properties in aqueous solutions. When the pH value is less than 7, it is cationic. Amine oxide itself is an excellent detergent that can produce stable and rich foam. The melting point is 132-133°C.
1. Used in dishwashing detergents and industrial liquid bleaches, it has the effect of increasing and stabilizing foam, and can improve the compatibility of thickeners and the overall stability of products.
2. Used as a foam promoter, conditioner, thickener and antistatic agent for shampoos, liquid detergents and foam baths, and is also a raw material for synthesizing amphoteric surfactants.
