Overview
The pure product is white crystals, and the industrial product is white powder. M.p. 233 ~ 235 ℃. It is soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols, ketones, esters and phosphate buffer solution with a pH value of 6.3, and is insoluble in ether, chloroform, benzene and water. It forms salts with potassium and sodium ions and dissolves in water. Gibberellic acid solids are relatively stable and will not lose their effectiveness if stored for a long time under dry and sealed conditions; the aqueous solution is unstable and will not lose its effectiveness if stored for a short time at low temperatures, but will decompose faster at higher temperatures; it is relatively stable under acidic or weakly acidic conditions and unstable under alkaline conditions.
