Applications

It has a wide range of uses. In medicine, camphor is used as a stimulant and local irritant, found in cooling remedies such as Shi Di Shui and Ren Dan. It is also used in the preparation of food flavors such as mint, white lemon, and nut flavors, as well as in the preparation of daily fragrances such as floral water and cosmetics.
